Eric joined the Bruns Lab in January of 1995. Eric
majored in Bioresource science and graduated in May of
1996. While sorting roots on one June day in 1996, Eric said
"We need to hire an undergraduate to do this".
After leaving the Bruns lab, Eric worked at Misty Fjords National Park
in Alaska as a wildlife biologist during the summer of 1997.
In September of 1997, Eric started med school at
the Medical College of Wisconsin
in Milwaukee.
Currently Eric is a resident in the emergency medicine department at UCSF Fresno.
