| Range: the species is found along the California coast in Marin, Sonoma, Mendocino, and Humboldt counties; south of San Francisco it occurs in a highly disrupted range (including Santa Barbara County and Santa Cruz Island) as far south as Cedros Island and the adjacent mainland of middle Lower California. |
